You have found a page containing the most definitive compilations available of the Beatles' music. Included are many of the fine Dr. Ebbetts needle-drops, and the Purple Chick series, nearly in it’s entirety. Also, some great bootlegs are here that fill in any blank spots left.
You will download .zip and .rar files that contain .flac files. You can play the .flac files with VLC Media player, or you can use Winamp…which will also allow you to change them into .wav or .mp3 files. Then you can burn them to a disk or send them to your ipod.
There is a Website chronicling the Purple Chick series. Use it as a guide for what is available. I have not been able to find a website regarding the Dr. Ebbetts collection. However, This Guide shows what is available from the good Doctor. And This Link is to a PDF of even more information.

file is corrupt on disc one...

Ahh, I see. Track 16,17 and 18 seem to have somehow duplicated their names in the index...but have 0kb for the files so the songs didnt actually make it there.
No files are missing/corrupt, the entire album is there, but some tracks (the above mentioned) got duplicated (in name only) and those are the ones that are 0kb. I will load a new zip tomorrow without the 0kb files.
this is great service and the BEST site, unlike many sites that are good but comprimise the sound with lousy digital compresion ...mp3, great for 4 dollar ear buds but lousy high fi. the flac files here are the best CHEERS!!!!

MP3 can sound good at higher bit rates/KBs...but most people seem to opt for the lower quality ones to save space. But yeah, for me any data compression = not having the real thing.
I'm proud to be able to host lossless files and am happy you enjoy the content.
PS, the file has been reloaded without the issues noted earlier in the thread.
