You have found a page containing the most definitive compilations available of the Beatles' music. Included are many of the fine Dr. Ebbetts needle-drops, and the Purple Chick series, nearly in it’s entirety. Also, some great bootlegs are here that fill in any blank spots left.

You will download .zip and .rar files that contain .flac files. You can play the .flac files with VLC Media player, or you can use Winamp…which will also allow you to change them into .wav or .mp3 files. Then you can burn them to a disk or send them to your ipod.

There is a Website chronicling the Purple Chick series. Use it as a guide for what is available. I have not been able to find a website regarding the Dr. Ebbetts collection. However, This Guide shows what is available from the good Doctor. And This Link is to a PDF of even more information.

Enjoy this collection!!!

Help! (Original 1965 Stereo Mix)

A Collection Of Beatles Oldies
is proud to host this rare find. This is the infamous, rare, out-of-print "Disque Americ" Canadian CD pressing of "Help!", which mistakenly used the original 1965 stereo mix
that appeared on the first UK LP version of the album.

All other official CD issues worldwide feature a 1987 digital re-mix of the songs.

What makes this pressing so rare is that in Canada, EMI/Capitol released a batch of "Rubber Soul" and "Help!" CDs that were made from the original UK stereo mix and not the common George Martin's digital re-mix from 1987. Those "special" CDs were manufactured by Disque Americ in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada (presumably in 1989) and that credit appears on the CD inner ring.

This is the only legitimate release of this mix available on compact disc and now you will have a copy!
