You have found a page containing the most definitive compilations available of the Beatles' music. Included are many of the fine Dr. Ebbetts needle-drops, and the Purple Chick series, nearly in it’s entirety. Also, some great bootlegs are here that fill in any blank spots left.

You will download .zip and .rar files that contain .flac files. You can play the .flac files with VLC Media player, or you can use Winamp…which will also allow you to change them into .wav or .mp3 files. Then you can burn them to a disk or send them to your ipod.

There is a Website chronicling the Purple Chick series. Use it as a guide for what is available. I have not been able to find a website regarding the Dr. Ebbetts collection. However, This Guide shows what is available from the good Doctor. And This Link is to a PDF of even more information.

Enjoy this collection!!!

Abbey Road - Toshiba-EMI (CP35-3016) aka "Black Triangle Edition"

In 1983, Toshiba-EMI Japan released CP35-3016: the first official
Beatles CD, but quickly withdrew it from sale after legal problems.
Four years later, a new EMI version of the CD was created and released
worldwide.

CP35-3016 (often called the "black triangle" version in reference to
the label artwork) has less dynamic-range (cd-mastering) compression,
treble emphasis and consequently more hiss than the later version(s).

It is generally held in high regard as a remarkable transparant and natural
sounding version of the 1969 'Abbey Road' album.

Hi, please let me ask you: I Downloaded Abbey road and it came in WAV. Are these files with pre-emphasis, so the only thing that I need to do is burn it with any burning program or I need to burn it with pre-emphasis using EAC??
Your answer will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
