You have found a page containing the most definitive compilations available of the Beatles' music. Included are many of the fine Dr. Ebbetts needle-drops, and the Purple Chick series, nearly in it’s entirety. Also, some great bootlegs are here that fill in any blank spots left.
You will download .zip and .rar files that contain .flac files. You can play the .flac files with VLC Media player, or you can use Winamp…which will also allow you to change them into .wav or .mp3 files. Then you can burn them to a disk or send them to your ipod.
There is a Website chronicling the Purple Chick series. Use it as a guide for what is available. I have not been able to find a website regarding the Dr. Ebbetts collection. However, This Guide shows what is available from the good Doctor. And This Link is to a PDF of even more information.
Enjoy this collection!!!

Thanks to Sailor Sam.
I was looking for a long time for this one, except this version isn't very good! I had a good listen and the track Good Day Sunshine skips at 1:05. Also there are serious volume changes. For instance Eleanor Rigby is a lot louder than Taxman. That makes me think this is a composite of various DESS mono's and not made from one original US mono vinyl. Anyway! Serious time for an upgrade in my opinion!
I'll have to look deeper into this.
I've done spectral analysis of the tracks and they are definitely NOT the UK or Jap mono tracks...plus you can listen to them and hear differences....the UK one is not anywhere near as hot-sounding and it is EQed is noticeably different.
I can't prove it's authentic, but it comes from a reliable source and it definitely is not the UK or Japanese Mono.
Ok, but you gotta admit this release has some serious flaws when listening to it. It could do with a nice upgrade. Let's hope the good doctor is around and helps us out! BTW: the other mono releases here on this blog are nothing less but great.
